PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our Homeroom Jax, Inc. is a pioneering home education instructional nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive home education support and personalized educational solutions to elementary students and families in Duval County who are new to homeschooling or seeking to enhance their program with instructional support
The program serves as a midpoint between traditional schooling and homeschooling, delivering daily face-to-face instruction by a single certified teacher in a microschool setting, with small class sizes of no more than 15 students, aged 7-9. Inspired by certain Montessori principles, this approach ensures each child receives personalized attention and an education tailored to their unique learning style, pace, and interests.
COURSE OVERVIEW
At Our Homeroom Jax, Inc., we provide diverse program courses aligned with Florida benchmarks for core subjects. Crafted by experienced educators, our courses offer engaging and rigorous content in language arts, math, science, and social studies. Activities, including art, dance, PE, media, music, and community service, cater to student interests. We foster a supportive, inclusive environment accommodating various learning styles and abilities, allowing students to progress at their own pace. Our goal is to empower home-educated students to succeed in their educational journey.
